Our lovely town might not count as one of earths culture hotspots, but the charming, medieval city has a lot to show. Geseke has been sited in texts dating back to the year 833AD and got its right to call itself a town in 1217AD.

Beautiful churches in a baroque, roman and late-roman style, as well as interesting Hellweg-Museum offer a fascinating insight to any culture lover.

ENJOY GESEKE AND ITS SURROUNDING

For our nature loving guests there are multiple bike- and hiking trails through lovely forests and nature preserves in and around Geseke, that can be planned online beforehand. Summer is best enjoyed in Gesekes modern public pool, or one of a multitude of lakes and rivers to cool down.

Furthermore, there is a broad selection of tours around the city, festivals, plays and cultural happenings.

Outside of Geseke, the Sauerland lures one with a lot of different leisure activities, as well as the beautiful Paderborn (30 minutes away).
